Jesus calls us to believe him,
Comes and asks us to receive him -
Jesus wants us in his family!
In his Body he will love us,
Grow us, show his power among us,
Give us all the life that’s rich and free!
For we are growing together as the Body of Christ
Whose life was given for sin
So he could gather us in.
Now in his living we share -
So for each other we care
And in the world we live and tell his name!
See our sister and our brother,
Bound in love to one another -
We are one within his family!
Each has needs within the Body,
Each has gifts to build the Body,
Growing, living in his harmony.
Jesus loves the people round us,
Cares, though darkness be abounding,
Stirs his love within the family.
Live his love out in the nation,
Tell the news of his salvation -
Body, move to set the people free!
