Grace so abounding, grace so free!
Jesus the Saviour gave his life for me!
Grace so amazing, grace so true!
Jesus the Saviour is alive for you!
Before I had a thought or care,
grace was surrounding me everywhere,
calling me, pleading and wooing me,
lovingly waiting to rescue me.
Grace so abounding…
But now I’ve crossed the great divide,
Jesus declaring me justified,
loving me, saving, forgiving me!
Trusting Jesus I know I’m free.
Grace so abounding…
And though the vict’ry has been won,
the Potter’s moulding is not yet done:
cleansing me, shaping and changing me,
working to make me what I should be.
Grace so abounding…
